Atelier Monet

We have created a warm space with a natural feel, inspired by Claude Monet’s workshop.
On the north side are individual booths where developers can concentrate on their work, and on the south side is a workation area that resembles Monet’s favorite natural water garden.

As if you’re on a workation?!
A comfortable office with a sense of nature

Surrounding Monet as he painted landscapes were his own children and the children of his patron’s families.
Monet enjoyed doing creative work in order to bring joy to children.
The “medaka” (Japanese rice fish) table in the center of the south side is designed to resemble a water lily pond, while the wooden tables and wooden deck are designed to resemble a shore with sunlight streaming through the trees.
The sight of the medaka swimming around comfortably offers a soothing break from work, and the open space, where one can imagine children happily playing by the water, is a place where employees can deepen communication with each other.
There are also other spaces that incorporate a “playful” spirit, such as monkey bars that resemble tree branches hanging over a pond and a teahouse that looks like a hideaway in the woods!

The green trees seen through the windows when opening the blinds are gently connected to the office, allowing visitors to feel nature throughout the entire space.
In an age when remote working has become the norm, we reexamined the value of an office and aimed to create a space where people can gather and “face-to-face” communication can take place.

The entrance to the development room is decorated with a different masterpiece by Monet for each season.

The design and construction of this renovation was handled by Re·lation Co., Ltd. the owner of “Nukumori no Mori,” a fairy tale-like space located in Hamamatsu City. The beech tree, which is the symbolic tree of the workation area, is a masterpiece created by Re·lation’s craftsmen, and it is a work of art that has recreated a mottled bark pattern with lichens.

Development Room

Over the next few years, we plan to renovate the entire company building with the help of Re·lation’s wisdom. Please feel free to stop by if you are in the area.

Our office’s renovation is introduced on Re·lation’s website.
