spScan can automatically polygonize data during import if the measurement point cloud data is formatted as ASCII or other discrete point data formats.

Polygonize discrete point data

Create three-sided polygon mesh shapes from discrete point data according to the specified measurement accuracy. When creating the polygon mesh, you can also simultaneously perform thin-out, hole-filling, and smoothing.

The supported point cloud formats are ASCII (discrete points) and SWL, which is the standard format for Vectoron, a measurement device sold by Tokyo Boeki Techno-System Ltd. Additional support for other discrete point data formats is also available.
